When the Juicer founding team first met over lunch one day we asked, "Why isn't EV charging everywhere?" This simple question then led to a deluge of learnings. We experienced as much charging in the wild as we could. We have countless photos of sub optimal experiences (broken chargers, not enough of them, confusing interfaces, long lines etc.) If that wasn't bad enough, we found the cost to activate a single charger staggering. Leveraging our expertise, we set out to redefine the space with a laser focus on making it simpler, more affordable, and more accessible. This approach directly translates into real benefits for property owners.
Nick Huzar
Cofounder & CEO
Cofounder of OfferUp (the largest local marketplace in the U.S.) with over 150M installs and
billions in annual transactions. I am passionate about circularity. EV's adoption plays an
essential role, and I think we'll see a majority rotation to them in my lifetime. This sets the
stage for autonomous driving which will transform local communities.

Serial Entrepreneur with past senior executive experience at Microsoft, Symantec, and the White House. Passionate about building stuff – with software, and with metal, wood and other materials. EV charging is the perfect blend of software and hardware innovation.

first ever secure corporate email client for Android. Enjoys the challenge of building simple
and cost-effective technology solutions that enable wider EV adoption.

Jeff Ratzlaff

Jeff runs the end-to-end Go To Market, bringing Juicer's mission to life. Prior to Juicer Energy, Jeff built and led Go-To-Market teams globally for MobileIron and Nokia, elevating them to leading positions while generating hundreds of millions in ARR.
When not trying to electrify every parking spot in the world you will likely catch him looking for his golf ball, hopefully in the short grass.
Claude Kalev
VP of Hardware
I’ve spent my career uniting engineering disciplines to create innovative energy solutions.
In the 90s, I helped develop the first series hybrid electric car and mentored Tesla’s future
CTO. Later, I introduced flywheel energy storage and designed EV chargers, including for Harley
Davidson’s electric motorcycle.
Guided by precision, resilience, and curiosity, I
continuously push the boundaries of technology.
Ty Wolfe Jones
Head of Operations
Veteran startup operator with expertise across early-stage and high-growth startups. Led operations at startups like Tango Card and Wrench. Ty launched Uber in the broader Pacific Northwest and was the GM who launched DoorDash in Seattle. Co-founded Climate Mayhem, a podcast talking to founders and operators in Climate Tech about saving the planet while making money. Juicer brings together my passions: a big problem, real impact, an innovative approach, and an exceptional team!
When not optimizing systems, you'll find me in my trailer exploring the PNW with family or traveling to hidden gems around the world.
